Questions for Reflection
- Generally, any task you do without proper planning leads to chaos, including prayer. Do you plan out your prayer time? If so, do you give room to the Holy spirit to change the direction of your prayers?
- What are some of the reasons that require us to pray for others (family, friends, church, society, etc.)? Do you consider these things when preparing to pray?
- True prayers are heart-felt prayer. What makes up the heart of an intercessor? How can we cultivate that kind of heart?
- Are brief prayers for others ever acceptable? How do you know?
