Prayer Point for the Week – Let us pray that despite spiritual and cultural opposition, we would remain true to the testimony of Jesus and to the inspiration of scripture.

1. According to 1 Corinthians 1:26-29, what marks the people who make up the church? Should that produce shame or confidence? Why?
2. Read Revelation 3:8 and 10. What are the three qualities of faithfulness that Jesus will reward? Do you ever have difficulty maintaining these things in your life? What does scripture teach us about how God forms these qualities of faith in our lives?
3. The message to the Philadelphia gives promises to both the faithless and the faithful. What are they and when will they take place? How does that affect our faithfulness?
