The Book of Acts details the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the Early Church. Is there any scriptural reason that would lead one to believe that the Holy Spirit does not work the same way today as He did in Acts?
1 Corinthians 12 through 14 give us insight into Spirit-led worship and ministry. What can we experience when we allow the Holy Spirit to move in our lives and church?
1 Corinthians 14:40 teaches us that all things should be done “decently and in order.” What does that mean in relationship to church worship? What restrictions, if any, are there on the exercise of spiritual gifts?
1 Thessalonians 5:19 tells us not to “quench the Spirit.” How is this possible? In what ways does this happen in our lives and in our worship services? Whose responsibility is it to make sure that this does not happen?
