The goal of the teaching/preaching ministry of the church is to empower people to service others beyond the four walls of the church.
Prayer Point for the Week – Let us pray that we would allow the Holy Spirit and the word of God to move us to places of service, unity, knowledge and maturity.
Questions to ponder:
1. Do I view my response to the ministry of the Word as the most important part of a sermon or teaching?
2. What do the following mean to me:
- Christian Service
- Unity
- Godly Knowledge
- Christian Maturity
3. Am I exhibiting/growing in these areas?
4. Is God moving me to an area of service?
5. How can the church better equip me to do the work of the ministry?
