Over the past week, I have completely redesigned the website. Â The menus are now more intuitive (I hope), and a host of new/updated items have been integrated.
Just a highlight some of the redesigned features:
- “Featured Posts” are highlighted at the top,
- my eclectic music sampling is featured across a cool slider on most of the pages,
- The calendar is updated to allow printing and saving as a PDF
- A built-in Private Messaging system allows members to send “mail” to one-another
- Tabbed menus on the side can access “top comments”, most popular posts, and the previously confusing category menu
Content authors can add thumbnail images to the posts (called “Featured Image”) that will show up next to the Post Title when browsing the categories (click on the “Video” cat
egory to see what I mean), and people can add links from their posts to the calendar! Â Very helpful for ministry leaders.
